Tender Prey: Live Videos

Something I have been wanting to do for awhile is to go album by album, posting my favorite live videos for each song (if possible). Inspired by my post featuring original versions of songs on Kicking Against the Pricks.

I am starting with Tender Prey, as it is my favorite Bad Seeds album. I hope you enjoy.

When I couldn't find a particular song live, well...share a version if you have one!

01. The Mercy Seat

02. Up Jumped the Devil (can't find - if you do, even just mp3, let me know)

03. Deanna (come on, it cracks you up, too)

04. Watching Alice

05. Mercy

06. City of Refuge

07. Slowly Goes the Night (can't find - provide if you have it)

08. Sunday's Slave (can't find - provide if you have it)

09. Sugar Sugar Sugar (SERIOUSLY provide if you have it; love this song)

10.

Heathen Child GIFs

The things boredom makes me do, I swear. Should be safe for work, unless Nick Cave spinning around in leopard print underwear and gladiator garb is offensive.

The flaming fart (and some of the horrible other ones with about five frames) would have been better, but I had a program cap everything and apparently the program found certain scenes unworthy of capping.

They get bigger if you click them.

In other news, I HAVE MY GRINDERMAN TICKETS for the Seattle show. Also, still no Cave Uncut here in the States.

Video Request?

I have a favor to ask of you all. None of the "save youtube videos" type websites are working for me. Could one of you upload, to some megaupload/yousendit/etc., the "Heathen Child" video? Preferably in .avi format, but .mpeg is okay too? (.flv if nothing else)

Would totally be grateful.

Nick Cave says, "please?"

(pic gets huge when you click it)

I see...a Gladiator outfit and leopard print undies in my future!

These Boots Are Made For...Trading!

Hey, Cave fans! If you love Cave (Birthday Party, Bad Seeds, Grinderman, any and all between) bootlegs (and why the hell wouldn't you?!), you have GOT to check out the amazing Laura's wonderful trade site. She has everything nicely organized by audio/video, band, etc. She has an EPIC list of goodies, so if you are or will become interested in exchanging Cave bootlegs, I'd make her the first place to check out. It's freaking mind-blowing how extensive her collection is.

Laura's Cave Trading Site

This is a public service announcement brought to you by the wolf on the new Grinderman cover. AWOOOOOOOOO!

Gladiator and Pokemon in the Old West

How did I not see this one? Must make gifs.

To quote myself on youtube after seeing this, "Oh my god...so amazing. It's like Gladiator and Pokemon by way of the old west."

video

Grinderman are so delightfully strange.

I've probably posted this before, but come on...
