Death of Bunny Munro photos from vaduzuvunt on Flickr. CHECK 'EM OUT! I have a headache, so forgive the shitty quality of this post. There are like 50+ pics there, though, and the facial expressions Nick makes are AMAZING. :D
Haha, it was Monday, not Tuesday! I won't bother with my assessment because I've typed too much in other places already. I just want to cook him dinner really. I haven't found anyone who knows what he likes to eat, ahaha.
Caroline...I fucking LOVE you. As someone who wasn't able to attend the only (I think?) US reading, this is PRICELESS to me. Seriously, it's like I'm THERE. Holy shit...I must save those all to my computer and watch them all (once I've read the book, mind you! I've been resisting readings because I want to read it first). But seriously...I know it wasn't just for me you uploaded that, but it really means a lot to me that you shared it. Thank you!
SIX TIMES?! Girl, you're craaaaayzeeeeeee. I would have prob'ly gone twice, just cuz I wouldn't want to overdo it. I like to relish the experience. But seriously...if he was doing six readings close to me, I actually might camp out at all of them too. I mean, it's not like they'd all be the same! :D
It wasn't close to me... :D 2 in London (one signing and one reading/discussion), 2 in New York (concert of the Dirty Three and reading/discussion with a signing in a store), one in Toronto (signing) and one in Ottawa (reading/discussion with a signing)
I'd rather not count how many hours I've spent in the plane/bus/train to go and see him :D But it was worth it! :)
I'm crazy too. I went to NYC and Ottawa (and I don't live in either of those places). And if I'd been able to, I would have fucking gone to more. Because it's Nick Cave. And well...there's nothing as fun as seeing Nick Cave. Next year I am going intercontinental on this shit. :)
thanks for the link :)
ReplyDeleteI took a few pics at the signing in Toronto

ReplyDeleteOh, also, this photo set addresses something that press photos would not have you believe. . .
ReplyDeleteNICK CAVE SMILES. A LOT. And it's contagious.
I know! He smiled a shitload at the show I saw. I was amazed. :D
ReplyDeleteI filmed the whole reading/discussion in Ottawa :

ReplyDeleteyou're welcome! :)
ReplyDeleteI feel so lucky and priviledged to have been able to see Nick 6 times in the last 2 weeks, I'm happy to share it with everyone :)
