Secret-y Me

I am uploading something I hope few of you have seen, but knowing my luck, you have. It is huge and is taking over four hours to upload.

God, I hope some of you don't already have it. I had it on my computer for MONTHS before watching it, and it was frickin' amazing and I felt dumb for not watching it sooner.

*goes away, being secretive*

  2. I'm quite sure you prob'ly have what I uploaded. But hey - at least I'm trying to share goodies. I have some random mp3 interviews too that I want to share.

Now - food and booze on the 4th.

  3. I like surprises, too, although at my age and level of experience, not much surprises me anymore. :((( But I digress ...

Devin, what I came here to say is that I think 'Black Crow King' is going to turn out to be the 'next Nick Cave Fixes'. Someone once told me that was your intention in starting your blog. With a little help, it looks like it's coming true for you. I'm impressed with how far you've come in the short time you've been up. This kind of work takes a lot of time and requires a tireless devotion to the subject, which you clearly have shown. Brava. I'd offer assistance with the technical stuff and fix hunting but something tells me you have all the support you need. Keep going!

BTW: Sorry I didn't see your comments about the Nick 'splash' video. I was offline for the holiday. It sounds as though you found what you were looking for, however.

    Cheers!

  4. Nick Cave Fixes, as it's still up, is definitely the best of the best. I don't know who told you, I wanted this to be the next NCF, but they're wrong. I set this up as a repository for my weird finds, stuff that amuses me and somehow manages to amuse other people. :D I didn't know what direction I was going to take this blog initially, but it's kinda taken a more humorous and WEIRD route, which I see people like. YAY! :D

I would ALWAYS be appreciative of people helping me find fixes to post here...but hmm, I think "fixes" as describing Nick finds should be for Nick Cave Fixes. I'll have to think of a word to describe stuff here. But yes, if you ever find stuff, I'd be so appreciative of anything you wanted to share. That's actually difficult for me, finding new stuff.

You can always comment with finds, or reach me by email at ziggy(underscore)star(at)comcast(dot)net

Your words made my day, which just started! I had no idea you thought such lovely things about my blog. I was a bit iffy about starting it, because Nick Cave Fixes is so amazing, but I seem to have found a niche.

I'm babbling now...EEEEE! THANK YOU SO MUCH! Your words are seriously the greatest encouragement I've gotten here yet! :D I'm so glad my quirkiness hasn't scared people away. I mean, the Nick Cave plate...did you see that thing? It was epic!

  5. Oh, it's you - the NCF person. I'm an idiot.

So when you said you think this could be the next NCF...that is HUGE! I don't think so though - NCF is a GODSEND and EPIC and just RAWR. If I can be the weird little version of yours, though, then AWESOME. :D

Well, I'm glad it made your day. Encouragement is critical if people are going to take chances in life. Feedback and such is how you know you're on the right path.

As for finding a niche, yes, you certainly provide a joyous experience for fans of all stripes. You have a flair for humor and crazyness in general, which is infectious. It's smart to use your 'quirkiness' to your advantage. Be yourself, that's the best advice. It's real.

If you ever need anything, let me know via email admin(at)nickcavefixes.com.

    Cheers!

  7. Awwww, thank you so much, Morgan. I was so worried that I would come across as an unprofessional, wannabe version of your lovely site. I think there's room for both of us, though! :D
